Referral program
Become a Solum referrer
If you have an audience that would want a private, on-device logbook, you can earn a commission for sending them to Solum. The program is invite-only, the terms are set per referrer, and it is built on the same privacy rules as the app: you see numbers, never people.
Tell us where your audience is and roughly how large it is. We reply to every application.
How it works
- Apply by email. If it's a fit, you get an invite link to the referrer dashboard.
- Set up your login. The dashboard uses a passkey, not a password. One-time email verification, then Face ID, Touch ID or your device's equivalent.
- Get your code. Each code can carry an offer for the people who use it: a percentage off, a fixed amount off, or a free trial, on monthly, yearly or lifetime plans.
- Share it. Your audience enters the code during the app's setup. They see the offer attached to it before they decide.
- Conversions confirm. When someone who used your code subscribes, the conversion is pending until the refund window closes (30 days by default). Then it confirms and a payout is queued.
- Request payout. From the dashboard, whenever you like, subject to any minimum on your code.
What you earn
Commission is agreed when you join and can be either a flat amount per subscription, set separately for monthly, yearly and lifetime plans, or a percentage. Codes can be one-time (paid on the first confirmed subscription) or recurring, paying again on renewals up to an agreed cap. Codes can also have an expiry date or a usage limit if you want to run a campaign rather than an evergreen link.
A conversion that never turns into a subscription expires after 60 days and is dropped. You only earn on people who actually subscribe and keep the subscription through the refund window.
How you're paid
Payouts go out by PayPal or Litecoin, your choice, to the details you save in the dashboard. You request a payout when you want one; each request bundles the confirmed, unpaid conversions at that moment. Payout history, including transaction references, stays visible in the dashboard.
What you can see
Per code: how many times it has been used, how many conversions are pending, confirmed and paid, and what you are owed. That is all. You never see who used your code, which platform they are on, or anything they log. The app itself only sends a random ID and a one-way hash of the device identifier, and the hash is deleted once you have been paid. The people you refer get the same privacy as everyone else, and so do you: the dashboard holds your email and payout details and nothing more.
Ground rules
- No medical claims. Solum is a logbook and calculator. Do not present it, or anything tracked in it, as treatment, a protocol, or advice.
- No compound-specific promises. Solum has no opinion about what people track and neither should your promotion of it.
- Disclose the relationship. Say it is a referral code. Most platforms require this and so do we.
- No spam, no bought traffic, no self-referral. Codes that show it are deactivated and unpaid conversions voided.
Who this is for
Newsletter writers, community moderators, podcasters, and anyone whose readers care where their data goes. If your audience would recognise itself in why privacy matters, they are probably the people Solum was built for.
