Terms of Use
Last updated: April 22, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Solum mobile application ("Solum", the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using Solum, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Not medical advice. Solum is a personal logging tool. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or modifying any regimen.
1. Who we are
Solum is provided by the operator of getsolum.app. You can reach us at hello@getsolum.app.
2. License to use the App
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use Solum on a device you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the applicable app store's terms (Apple Media Services Terms or Google Play Terms of Service).
3. Your account and data
Solum does not require an account to use. All data you enter — vials, doses, schedules, observations — is stored locally on your device. You are solely responsible for your data and for maintaining backups if you wish to preserve it.
If you use the optional Cloud Transfer feature to move data between devices, you control the transfer; see our Cloud Transfer Privacy page for details.
4. Subscriptions
Solum offers auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock Pro features. The following applies to all subscriptions:
- Length and price. Current subscription durations and prices are shown in the App and in the App Store or Google Play listing at the time of purchase.
- Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the same price and duration at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Managing and canceling. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's subscription settings — Apple or Google Play. Deleting the App does not cancel the subscription.
- Free trials. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Refunds. All purchases are final, except where refunds are required by the app store's policies or applicable law. Refund requests are handled directly by Apple or Google.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App to log or facilitate anything illegal in your jurisdiction.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App, except to the extent allowed by applicable law.
- Use the App to harm yourself or others, or to bypass safety information provided by a healthcare professional.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the App.
6. Medical and health disclaimer
Solum is a logging and calculation tool. It does not:
- Provide medical advice, diagnoses, treatment recommendations, or dosing recommendations.
- Verify the accuracy of compounds, concentrations, or doses you enter. The App calculates based on the values you provide.
- Warn about drug interactions, contraindications, overdose risks, or safety windows.
You are responsible for verifying any information you rely on. If you have questions about a compound, dose, or regimen, consult a qualified healthcare provider.
7. No warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Solum or its operators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or, if you paid nothing, USD $10).
9. Changes to the App or these Terms
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Material changes to these Terms will be announced by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notifying you in-app. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete it from your device at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., disclaimers, limitations of liability) will survive.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that you may have additional rights under your local consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
12. Apple-specific terms
If you downloaded Solum from the Apple App Store: these Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce them against you.
